Undress Runways – Gold Coast 2014

UNDRESS GOLD COAST

Undress Runways marked its fifth show in style bringing an elegant close to the Surfers Paradise Festival. For the first time on the Gold Coast, it remained true to the Undress Runways theme. Held at sunset on a transformed rooftop once home to the Gold Coast Skywheel, the industrial-meets-jungle themed show delivered the best and brightest in sustainable fashion.
Designers showcased a wide range of styles from casual to formal attire, proving once again that fashion can have a heart. Part of a growing movement in the fashion industry, Undress Runways is creating unique, stunning events that find that perfect balance between a high fashion runway and an intimate gathering of friends.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

UNDRESS MELBOURNE

After three highly successful events in Brisbane, Undress Runways brought their unique eco-conscious fashion runway to Melbourne to take part in the Sustainable Living Festival. Typical to Undress Runways style, they presented the very best in ethical and sustainable fashion in a down to earth fashion event.

Held at 1000 Pound Bend in the heart of Melbourne, Undress Melbourne had a runway laden with leafy plants, oil drums and earthy tones all of which combined to create an earthy yet chic space. Models displayed new and well known brands at the peak of sustainable fashion, proving yet again that to be environmentally conscious doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on style.

UNDRESS BRISBANE 2013

Sustainability and fashion walked hand in hand down the runway at Undress Brisbane 2013, featuring a number of established and emerging sustainable designers along with vintage labels. An innovative event showcasing the best in sustainable fashion; think ‘no-waste’ collections, ethical production, ‘food dyed’ garments, natural fibres, and unique pieces made from off-cuts.

Undress Brisbane was a pop-up fashion event which transformed an otherwise unordinary two levels of a car park in Chinatown, into an extraordinary runway event. Models walked mostly barefoot reinforcing the focus on the environment, invoking thoughts of tribal warriors of fashion. Organic cocktails paired beautifully with the whole evening, enjoying sustainable fashion from around Australia. Undress Brisbane created an atmosphere for change in the fashion industry.
